Reno is the second largest city in Nevada behind the Las Vegas metropolitan area.  It is often referred to as the “Biggest little city in the world” and is famous for it’s casinos and is the birthplace of the Ceasars Entertainment Corporation.

Reno is often combined with the Sparks City and the combined population is over 437,000 people.

Due to it’s location, Reno is a popular destination for Northern California visitors where Las Vegas located in Southern Nevada typically serves the Southern California and Phoenix Arizona areas.

The city has attempted to add several annual shows to bring additional visitors each year.  These shows include the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cookoff, held every year around Labor Day, Hot August Nights (a classic car convention), Street Vibrations (an annual motorcycle fan gallery and gathering), the Great Reno Balloon race, a Cinco de Mayo celebration, bowling tournaments, and an Annual Air Show.
