As one of two Turo Approved Photographers in the State of Utah, Legacy Images is excited to work with you to capture professional images of your automobile. We have been photographing Turo vehicles since 2017 and have photographed vehicles in Salt Lake and Utah County.  We are happy to work with you to photograph your cars and increase your exposure and help you get more traffic on your vehicles posted on Turo.com!

Preparing for your Photoshoot

Before the photoshoot

  1. Clean your car – we want your car to look it’s best so please make sure to give the interior and exterior a good cleaning before the photoshoot.
  2. Be on time – please try to be early to your appointment and your photographer will do the same.  If you have to cancel, please do so 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.  Last minute cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the deposit
  3. Mark your car’s calendar – we want you to get as many rentals as possible, but we also want to capture professional images for your listing.  Please mark your car’s calendar as unavailable during your photoshoot.
  4. If you have extras that you rent with the car, please plan on installing them and having them available at the photoshoot.  An examples of an extra you would want to photograph would be ski racks with skis and/or snowboards attached.
  5. If you have multiple cars you would like to shoot, please plan to capture them in the same session.  Turo photographers are not allowed to drive your vehicles for insurance reasons, so please plan to provide your own drivers.

 

Location Planning

Location Planning is a critical part of a successful Turo Photoshoot!

You will definitely want to scout for great locations nearby.  A clean background without distracting elements will greatly add to the quality of the images.  Additionally, you will want to consider the time of day for your photoshoot.  If you want pictures of Utah Lake in the background, shooting into the sun in the afternoon will cause the image to be underexposed, so that image would be best shot in the morning.

You might also consider the type of background appropriate for your vehicle.  If you have a family car, you might consider picnic areas or parks.  If you have a Jeep, you might consider more rugged terrain in the background.

  • All shoots include the following shots:

  • 4 hero shots – what is cool about the vehicle, i.e. backup camera, ski racks, moon roof, custom wheels, etc.

  • All shoots include the following shots:
  • 6 External Shots including the front, rear, passenger side, drivers side, rear angle and front angle views
  • 6 Interior Shots including the view from the drivers side, passenger side, dashboard, backseats, full dashboard and trunk
  • 4 hero shots – what is cool about the vehicle, i.e. backup camera, ski racks, moon roof, custom wheels, etc.

Notes:

  • Prices reflect the number of cars shot during the same appointment. 
  • 25 miles round trip is included with each shoot.  Additional travel billed out at .75 per mile
  • 50% deposit due on booking and the balance of the payment is due at the time of the photoshoot
  • Photos will be edited and provided to the car owner within 5 business days of the photo session
  • Car owner is able to choose which images they would like to upload to Turo.
  • Additional photos available at $5/image
