Along with the world famous theme parks (i.e. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Seaworld, Wet ‘n Wild Waterpark, and Gatorland and the convention and conference hotels that provide a great location for groups to gather and meet with customers, partners or internal employee meetings, Orlando is known for the world class golf courses available year around.
The weather is perfect in the winter, spring, and fall, although the summers can get a little hot and humid to play 18 holes of golf.
Golf Green in Orlando Florida:
I was traveling in Orlando for a conference and took the opportunity to get up early one morning to check out the golf course before my meetings started. This golf green caught my eye. It is a short hole, par 3, but the water hazard in front of the green makes it a difficult approach. You can’t hit it short or long without losing a ball. The green also slopes towards the water, so if you hit the ball on to the green, but the wrong area of the green, your ball will roll off into the water. I am sure that there have been many golf balls get wet and a few choice words have been uttered on this hole.
